The Aquarium

I'm back at work after the holidays, unlike so many of my coworkers. I've been here about an hour now and have managed to keep relatively busy deleting emails and complaining about my devastating fantasy football loss (1 stinking point!). It has been a pretty full morning.

Now I turn to my toy aquarium with the small pink and yellow fish. Supposedly you fill the aquarium with water and watch them grow and it's fun. Whee!

There are little sticks at the bottom of the aquarium that are supposed to hold the fish down but don't work too well. I filled my aquarium with water and both my fish promptly flipped over and floated to the top. It's like a real aquarium!

Fortunately, this aquarium is decked out with little plastic beads and plants. Classy. Not only do these features add charm to my little fishies' abode, it also serves as a handy tool for wedging the fish into a fixed position. Stay... STAY! Good fish!

I forgot my camera at home and pretty much need it to talk about my aquarium, so sorry to anyone who was waiting anxiously for that. I plan on sleeping in my cubicle today, as I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night- I was up late winning a $50 gift certificate playing Texas Hold'em at the bar.

Today there's a holiday potluck; I brought 3 boxes of Oatmeal Cream Pies. Then I'm off for Christmas vacation, so my newly created blog might not be updated for awhile. Happy holidays.

It's almost Christmas and right now I'm one of the few still sitting in a cubicle and not on vacation. I'm kinda bored, so I started this blog. We'll see how it goes. I plan on bringing in a camera and documenting my adventures in life and the workplace. Looking forward to writing about my happy aquarium tomorrow. I'm sure you are too.
